Jakarta is ready to hold Asian Games 2018. Supporting facilities and infrastructures have been prepared optimally to support the biggest sport event in Asia.

"Jakarta is 100 percent ready. We have prepared venues, transportation, and its supporting facilities," affirmed Anies Baswedan, Jakarta Governor, after dancing poco-poco at Monas, Sunday (8/5).

According to him, Asian Games athletes are scheduled to arrive in Jakarta on August 10. Traffic engineering with odd-even system has been applied to reduce the congestion.

"Traffic is on target. We only need around 20-26 minutes to transport athletes from Wisma Athlete to GBK. It is faster than actual target which is 30 minutes because we apply odd-even system and close several toll gates," he mentioned.

He informed, Jakarta Government provides 1,750 Transjakarta buses every Saturday and Sunday for residents who want to go to Asian Games venues to watch the match and they can ride it for free.
